Revisiting Our First Setup Feature: Frank Tkachenko (@stylesofman)

If you think this setup looks familiar, don’t worry. It’s not a glitch in the matrix. About a year and a half ago our very first Instagram post featured Frank from @stylesofman and his sweet desk setup. Since then, his impeccable style has remained constant, but both his setup and his following have expanded. It’s really no surprise with his high-class, high-quality content. Let’s dive in and see what he’s leveled up and what was good enough to keep.

The first thing that catches our eye is the expansive, 28” DualUp monitor from LG. This nearly doubles his screen real estate and probably his productivity as well. You know he always has the fire wallpapers, too.

He didn’t lose much desk space with the monitor addition, either, thanks to his DMS1000 monitor arm from Kanto (for the horizontal HP Omen display) and a desk shelf from Oakywood. The arm for the vertical display is from UPLIFT Desk. This dual-arm setup allows him to move his laptop under the shelf and fully utilize the space on top of the shelf. That’s currently home to his Yamakazi Home organizer, Gantri Iceberg lamp, a clock, and a plant. Everything tucks in nicely without looking cluttered.

Also keeping things nicely organized is the IKEA SKADIS pegboard. This utilitarian piece is one feature of his setup that gets the most questions. It has attachments for every need, and Frank needs to make sure his headphones, adapters, cables, and controller are right where he wants them.

The Herman Miller Embody chair is also a nice, comfy investment in his setup. Frank still uses the same Uplift Desk adjustable height sit-stand desk as before, but now his sitting time is that much better than it was.

For new desk peripherals, check out the new Glorious GMMK Pro mechanical keyboard build. We’re digging the earthy tones of the caps against the black frame. A keen eye will catch the new Logitech webcam up top. The Azio wrist rest and Handwers mousepad continue to provide supporting roles.

What’s your favorite part of Frank’s setup? You know we’re going to keep watching, and we won’t be surprised when it keeps getting better. If you’re a fan of men’s fashion or desk setups, be sure to follow @stylesofman and see what he comes up with next.
